Doom informs the FF that they have 12 hours to comply with his wishes.and he actually gestures the number "12" with his finger while doing so.it's like "Evil Sesame Street".hoo boy.and of course Mrs. Of course, obtaining a copy requires buying a bootleg or downloading it as shareware, but if you're here on the IMDb, then you're most likely savvy enough to do so. Have a brew, butter up some large pretzels, and enjoy. Fantagraphics is home to the worlds greatest cartoonists. And if ever a flick cried out for a treatment by Joel (or Mike) and the MST3K Bots, this is it! Watch this with a bunch of smart-ass wise-crackers, and you're in for a good time.
FANTASTIC FOUR 3 DVD MOVIE
I know there's an animated adaptation of that book - which I haven't seen - but if anyone in DC movie-land ever gets the idea to make a live-action "retro" JLA film using the same source, I guess the odds of a 60's jet-age Fantastic Four movie would be a no go.As long as you keep in mind that the production of this movie was a copyright ploy, and not intended as a serious release, it is actually surprising how not absolutely horrible it is. I remember thinking how compelling it would've been if he'd used that whole milieu for a Fantastic Four mini-series (or whatever they're called) instead of the JLA.

I haven't been a big comics reader in a couple of decades, or a DC fan in general, but one that quite randomly caught my eye (in trade form) in recent years and really impressed was Darwyn Cooke's NEW FRONTIER. Sue Storm in a miniskirt costume with high white boots, sort of Star Trekkish. It lasted for 20 episodes, with repeat episodes airing on ABC until the network cancelled the program. The program, featuring character designs by Alex Toth, aired on ABC from 1967 to 1970.
FANTASTIC FOUR 3 DVD SERIES
Mad Men with Kirby dots and big Kirby machines rendered with modern special effects. Fantastic Four is an animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and the first animated series based on Marvels comic book series Fantastic Four. Rockets flying through the air to wheel-shaped space stations. The early space age was a neat, forward-thinking time, and there hasn't been a lot of modern sf set in that era. I think most have put out the Trank version from their minds though and the others are quite old by now so they could possibly get away with doing it once more. They definitely don't need another origin movie. The only issue would be doing the origin yet again I agree but I think you'd almost have to for a period set story. Movie Talk - Rumor: New Fantastic Four Reboot - I don't think a period piece would work at all outside of one of the world wars. Bonus Features: Theatrical Feature Powering Up: Superpowers of the Fantastic Four The Quantum Gates. I know that's been done before with Captain America but I wouldn't have a problem if they used a similar angle. FANTASTIC ), Sue Storm ( INVISIBLE WOMAN ), Johnny Storm ( THE HUMAN TORCH ) and Ben Grimm ( THE THING ) must harness their incredible new powers and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy, the infamous DR. I feel like they're too of that time to be modernized without somehow crossing dimensions into the modern era personally. They could be part of some SHIELD experiment or whatever.

Have it set in the sixties or so when the space race was hot. Fox has shown repeatedly they don't want to spend money on this franchise.I think a period piece could work. Planet-wide disasters like Galactus bringing in all of the FF's cosmic characters ups the budget considerably. The problem for FF has always been that most of its best storylines would cost a fortune to film. item 3 Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (DVD, 2007) DISC ONLY 3 - Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (DVD, 2007) DISC ONLY 2.

I've been surprised they haven't made an animated Fantastic Four film to keep the rights going. Well if budget is an issue, just make Galactus into a cloud, what could go wrong? Or just make a deal with Marvel and justify a higher budget. Also the FF shows up in The Avengers and Spider-Man cartoons. Fox has shown repeatedly they don't want to spend money on this franchise.Perhaps they don't have the animation rights? I don't think the last animated series was done by them and that was right before the second movie. The problem for FF has always been that most of its best storylines would cost a fortune to film. Fox needs to jump to the middle of their superhero careers with maybe a recap of the origin in the opening credits. I don't think a period piece would work at all outside of one of the world wars.
